Do you think music has been getting better or worse since 2010?

I think it's been getting better. I mainly check out old music (mostly 80s post-punk/new wave) but I can actually name quite a few bands/albums I really like that have come out/been active this decade: Foxygen, Tame Impala, Youth Lagoon, Wild Nothing, Kurt Vile, Caribou, Grimes, Cosmogramma by Flying Lotus, Sea When Absent by A Sunny Day in Glasgow, The Suburbs by Arcade Fire, Sunbather by Deafheaven, m b v by My Bloody Valentine, 50 Words for Snow by Kate Bush. Although there hasn't been a Nevermind or an OK Computer yet, for me that's nearly as good as the 90s. Whereas in the late 2000s I can't really think of anything that I'd class as excellent other than In Rainbows and Merriweather Post Pavilion.

Having said that there's also been some highly critically approved stuff which I don't get at all, or should probably spend more time listening to (Sun Kil Moon, The War on Drugs).

Bit of a general question, but what do you think?
