Can the Libertines pull off a proper comeback

tinkerbelletom [Edit] [Delete] 13:49, 15 December '14

rewind 10 years to 2004 and the libertines were the biggest thing around, this was pre arctic monkeys remember. then pete got wasted and the whole show fell to pieces in what has to be the biggest waste of talent since nirvana. they`re still under 40 and are the original line up. looking at NMEs demos article it would be nice to see an album of 80% new material and maybe a few old demos re-recorded. they still have a massive cult following as their comeback shows were a success.

can all this translate into an amazing follow up to 2004`s self titled album?

after a decade of pretty low quality output from all members surely this has massive potential to be a fantastic album. i would love to see a decent new libs album and not a soggy fart of a comeback album. fingers crossed.
