Ideas for listening to music without using your ears

Fuzzy_Dunlop [Edit] [Delete] 13:55, 10 November '14

The ears are flawed devices, they've been around for years with no upgrades, some are hairy or weirdly shaped which leads to a non-standardised listening experience. As we get older they become worse.

- Bypass the ears completely and head straight for the auditory nerve. Your brain thinks it's listening, and you acheive perfect sound. No noise pollution either.

- Go through the bones. I remember reading about five years ago that Sony had patented technology for music that travels through your bones. Where is it Sony?

- Reading about how a piece of music sounds is often a better experience than actually blistering to that piece of music. From a subscriber to Wire magazine.
