been listening to the latest nisennenmondai 'n' at the moment

here's a youtube stream of it www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnoIXp1PHbI

also been on a bit of a loren mazzacane connors tip. feel like he was doing the whole weird ambient americana about 3 decades before mark mcguire and the war on drugs. here's a recent-ish piece of his with alan licht https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fFx5jil3h4

finally got around to listening to the Soft Pink Truth album from a couple of months ago as well. think it's basically perfect conceptually but the idea gets a bit thin over the whole album, some of the songs are pretty weak. like this more than anything on the actual lp https://soundcloud.com/thrilljockey/the-soft-pink-truth-rundgang

gave a few other things a go:

new shabazz palaces - pretty good but didn't grab me as much as the first one. i'll probably give it a few more listens

signor benedick the moor - not very impressed

naomi punk - bunch of us rhythmic punks who go on in interviews about how everyone is a sell out and they're TRUE PUNX. obviously that whole shit is up my street but i'm afraid the album isn't very good

et tu
