Sort of like how Deb Googe is credited with bass for My Bloody Valentine, but she doesn't actually appear on neither Loveless (and presumably the Glider and Tremelo EPs) nor mbv. I'm under the impression that Michael Ivins of Flaming Lips is in the same boat for at least the past few albums.
