Hello There,

First post to the site, I was just wandering if any users on Drowned in Sound have recommendations for some good Belgian bands. I'm from the UK, but have recently got into Bel-Pop, and have found some real gems such as;

Balthazar, Montevideo, Intergalactic Lovers, Tommigun, and Amatorski (the later band's album 'TBC' being a real ethereal stunner).

I've been using sites such as Last.Fm to find similar artists, but I find the selections to be really hit and miss. It seems to be more tailored to what's popular and not what sounds necessarily good! I'm really into dream-pop and ethereal stuff at the minute, and have a preference for female vocalists.

Any recommendations from users would be really appreciated - or anyone who just wants a discussion here!
