I guess we'd have been better off with Gabrielle, Shaggy, 2Unlimited, Take That and Right Said Fred taking music forward in 1994, eh?

Also, did "Be Here Now" mark the death of the original meaning of "indie" into just meaning boring guitar bands like it does now? Surely it was just as much, if not way more, to do with indie labels being set up and/or financed by major labels?
