one of my mixes got taken down off soundcloud because of copyright. Fair enough. But the email I got says:

"Our automatic content protection system has detected that your sound "DiSMix 04 - Sands" may contain the following copyright content: "Longa" by Arabesque, Hassan Erraji, owned by . As a result, its publication on your profile has been blocked."

Owned by who?! The suspense is killing me.

That was one of my most played mixes too - loads of plays from all over Africa, Middle East and Asia - everywhere from Azerbaijan to Zaire.

Sad times.

Soundcloud have taken down a lot of my mixes. How many until I actually get 'in trouble'? Probably won't put any more up.
