Most underated/overated bands,,,,

tinkerbelletom [Edit] [Delete] 09:16, 18 February '14

Thought i`d start something about overrated or underated bands...

overated:

the vaccines. i love guitar music but some with a bit of imagination. they`re so boring and seem to be everywhere because bands seem to have forgottan that guitars can be loud too instead of permantly set to mellow/sleep mode.
oasis. being contraversal am i the only one thinking that post 1996 oasis seem to get worse every year and more tiredsome. the first two albums where classics and as soon as the original line-up fell to pieces so did the music. at least blur saw that they needed to change to become the great band that they did.

underated:
franz ferdinand. art school bands seem to be in short supply. at least they are one of the few bands that are an indie band but don`t seem they have to sound so sleepy. all their albums are a good standard, even the Tonight album isn`t as bad as some people say. Last years right thoughts album got better everytime i gave it more listens. at first i thought it was a bit too short then decided that there really is no filler instead just good songs.

scisser sisters. they are always fun and i like all their albums the least being the second. i liked them when they first came out then didn`t listen to them for a few years until last year when i read a review in Q about their magic hour album and decided to remind myself of their back catalogue and realised that they are actually quite good.
