Hello!

I run Clue Records, an independent & DIY record label based in Leeds, England. I wanted to introduce ourselves, offer some free mp3s, tell you who we work with & explain what we do. I don't want to spam the forum & will try to keep involved with it as much as possible, although it will be intermittent due to having so much on with the label.

Allusondrugs
Their music veers from beautiful shoegaze pop to full-on mosh-pit anthems. They have been selected to play at Live At Leeds & were asked to represent Leeds at Independent Venue Week 2014. They were also awarded 'Single Of The Year' by Rhubarb Bomb & named by Fortitude Magazine as 'One To Watch: 7 Acts To Listen Out For In 2014'.

NARCS
Their music veers from driven riffs & confrontational sneers to melodic lullabies, always served with a sense of story. They have been selected to play at Live At Leeds & towards the end of 2013 they received several accolades including 'Band Of The Year' (Gig Islands), 'Album Of The Year' (Impropaganda) & 'Gig Of The Year' (Dearly Noted).

Forever Cult
Their music blends the brutal moments of 1990s Seattle grunge with the jaunty pop-minded lyrical charm of mid-00s British indie. They were asked to represent Leeds at Independent Venue Week 2014.

PODCAST & GETTING IN TOUCH

We're up for hearing music from anyone although we mainly work with bands in the alternative/indie/rock genres. We listen to everything we receive & will respond to any submissions. If we like it we may play it on our podcast, if we love it we may get in touch to talk about working together.
