*Saturday morning JAG time*

Hey DiSsers,

I’m Ben - long-time DiS board loiterer/user and occasional (OK, one time) DiS writer. I’ve recently set up a pop culture website called The Spiral Groove covering music, TV, film, arts/culture etc. The ethos of the site lies in producing long(ish) articles and think-pieces – there are so many uninspired ‘listicle’ sites out there (some much better than others), and I wanted to put something together that was still entertaining to read but had a bit more to it.

Anyway, the reason I’m posting this here is: a) the sort of features DiS runs have been a big influence on the idea behind the site (but covering all areas of pop culture), b) there are a few other DiSsers involved. I’ve put a few links below to some recent articles and pieces by DiS users, if you get a chance to read over the weekend I’d love to hear your thoughts.
