Is this normal now? (Ticketing)

lemonbrickcombo [Edit] [Delete] 17:31, 31 January '14

Just went to buy a ticket for a Hemlock records night over here in a few weeks (Untold, Joe, Randomer & others) and I'm being asked to say whether I want to enter between 23h and 00h, 00h and 1h, and then from 1h onwards. The price goes up the later it gets.

I entirely understand the idea of earlybird ticketing etc, and for paying more on the door, but isn't this just an utter load of bullshit? Does it happen in the UK now too?
