About to drop his 36th album with a slightly new guise. What's your favourite album from Scribble or whatever he calls himself. Arguably too prolific for his own good but no one can deny his talent. His heyday runs from 'Dirty Mind' to 'Symbol'? (Guess you can take Graffiti Bridge outta that equation).
Has anyone listened to actually all of his albums? Rock & Roll Love Affair (the single) caught me off guard with an unexpected return to form recently. Any hopes for the new album or after years of meandering have most people given up?

Top 3 order for me :
1. Purple Rain. (rare-ish example where an artists biggest album is also their best).
2. Sign O' The Times. (in the words of Frank Carson - it's a classic).
3. Controversy. (Early 80's Funk Pop masterclass, plus Annie Christian is one of his best ever songs).

Shout out too for The Black Album for it's initial air of real rock & roll mystery and Bob George being one of the Minneapolis funked up ones most barking mad moments.
