You know, sometimes you get a little lost in rhythms and digital landscapes or epic post-rock, and you forget about that primal punch that comes from a punk-rock. Or how great it is to hear a riff that sounds like it's tearing the inside of your speaker.

For me, it's usually the opening bassline to Doolittle. It always happens when I hear Pretty Girls Make Graves, Blood Red Shoes or The Icarus Line. What has done it to you over the years or more recently?
