Haven't done a music interview in a while, but Jordan's thread about doing an interview got me thinking. Do any of ya's have stock questions?

I don't really, but I'm always keen to play up conflict and obstacles, so like, when discussing an artist's latest project, I'll ask: "Was there a time, at any point in the process, where you were scared shitless, like, 'This could all go horribly wrong'?"

Or, like, when I interviewed Emily Haines and asked her if she has an older sister.

No, I'm kidding. Of course. Never happened. This is the internet and it's serious business-- so I apologize.

Emily was, like, "Hey, I think you and my sister might get along," but I said: "This is music journalism and it serious business so no thank you very much."
