Bands rerecording their earlier work

ThirstyDog [Edit] [Delete] 10:16, 8 October '13

Inspired by the new Tindersticks album, let's have examples of bands rerecording their old stuff, as well as telling us which bands you'd like to do this.

I can't think of too many examples other than Kraftwerk's "The Mix", Sigur Ros' "Hvarf/Heim", and New Order rerecording Temptation & Confusion for the "Substance" album after the original master tapes were lost.

As for my wishlist, it would be interesting to hear the gruffer, older Tom Waits rerecording Nighthawks at the Diner, complete with live audience.
