So I've been listening to the Chvrches album quite a lot and it's put me in the mood for some synth pop. It being a genre that was among those I foolishly dismissed during my parochial years (where I also had an unreasonable aversion to the 80s) and have never got around to exploring properly I need some advice as to what are the classic albums to listen to as well as the more recent exponents.
