Music Social More…

Can anyone think of concept albums that sound better if you don't play them in the track listed order?

Violator [Edit] [Delete] 23:43, 26 August '13

I'd be interested to hear if there are any albums which people think flow better, musically, only if you ignore the lyrical narrative the artists intended for the listner.

In other words, the 'story' isn't actually the best way to hear the album as a piece of music.

Some people of very precious about track listings and others not so, so it would be particularly interesting if anyone thinks the narrative of a concept album is not the best way to hear the album.

I'm just intrigued, and will of course, give a few suggestions a go myself, if anyone has any.

Cheers, as always.
