2013 has been a pretty fucking great year so far for music certainly January through May anyway but my main qualm has been that my most anticipated releases from some of my favourite artists over last few years have largely fallen well short of expectation... for example

Deerhunter
Kurt Vile
The National
Ducktails
The Knife
No Age

Really underwhelmed by all of these particularly the top 3 can anybody convince me I've made a mistake?
