New Franz Ferdinand album is streaming and it really doesn't disappoint.

Violator [Edit] [Delete] 10:26, 20 August '13

Essential listening for anyone between the their late 20s and early 30s ('case pretty much most of us bought the debut back in the day.

I only got four tcks in and I was instantly convinced and relieved that its a bloody good and better still, a return to stomp and swagger of their first. Now don't get me wrong, I think YCHISMB and 'Tonight' are not at all bad albums but thhey were an inevitable and laudable attempt to move away from the sound they burst onto the scene with.

Most of this new material is everything I was hoping it would be - a band utilising their experience, and maturity and yet revisiting the sort of music which made them such a promising act in the early noughties.
