zach hill is probably my favourite instrumentalist ever, i love greg saunier's work with deerhoof and with xiu xiu, and thought it'd be interesting to hear them collaborate with contribution from joanna newsom

i know old people say that music sounds like the record's broken or something, but this honestly sounds like the most aggitatingly scratched, fucked up CD i've ever heard. im not going to say that it's bad, just that i find it genuinely very, very unpleasant.

feel free to say i have ridiculously conservative music tastes, but jesus, even having this on in the background makes my chest tighten up. can anyone beat it?
