Used to love Elevator when I was 14 or so. That one hasn't held up so well, but Make Up The Breakdown and Knock Knock Knock are genuinely great new wave records, I reckon. I checked out their latest one and it sounded decent, better than Happiness Ltd.

To people who were in the know at the time, what was the general consensus on Hot Hot Heat when they were new?
