Just reminded of this by detour confirming a show for Blondes next month in London. Love their album from last year and would like to see it, but buggered if I'm going to go to a show that runs from 10pm-6am just to hear it.

Obviously I'm old/boring/a pussy/missing the point/not true kult/whatever, but it's a nuisance to always miss out on this stuff. Can't think of many bands I'd want to stay up until the middle of the night for. Make the occasional exception at a festival etc, but generally, nah. Probably should have got into ten years ago when I had more stamina / youthful exuberance.

Anyone feel the same? Or is it just about (wo)manning the fuck up?
