I'm not talking about people like us. We're a bunch of indie elitist virgins who probably do this when a band's record sales hit treble figures, but bands that are really (genuine in a relatively non-hyped way) popular to begin with, and then their schtick gets suddenly tiresome, often without a considerable drop in quality.
