New Maps next week called Vicissitude. Lead off track sounds really good. I just don't understand it. I check several music sites a number of times every day and I haven't seen a single announcement about this album. Very strange from a band recently nominated for a mercury. I'm noticing this more and more where there isn't a single bit of fanfare or introduction of an album a few months before a release anymore. Luke Haines has an album coming out in July too and I had to go to his obscure website to find that out. Another odd one earlier this year was Noah and the Whale. Album just suddenly came out. Band had huge chart hits off last album and there was zero pre-release buzz on that.
