or anyone else who might write long form reviews for your own blog or a site...how many times do you typically listen to an album before writing the review? How long does it generally take you to finish the review?

It seems to take me half dozen listens and 2-3 days (1-2 hrs in the evening, though my attention is easily diverted) to get the review out and tweaked.
