Sometimes songs make me think of books and vice versa.

For example:
Tom Waits' Come On Up To The House and some songs from The Milk-Eyed Mender remind me of Kerouac's Dharma Bums.

Robyn Hitchcock's lyrics remind me of Catch-22 because they do the trick of being absurd and touching at the same time.
