just came in the post. well, 42 minutes ago which is how long the single piece on this record is. It is AMAZING.

on the first album 'Throat' from a few years ago, Little Woman clattered and screamed their way through forty minutes of bracing skronk. Here we find them maturing somewhat: there are beautifully composed sections of instrumental playing which slowly transitions into 2 minutes of beautiful vocal harmony. Admittedly this is disrupted, as your internet gurus would say, by a sound somewhere between a scrawl and a trumpet fanfare.
