Really quite disappointed. Musically, it's reasonable, and pretty accesible. Lyrically, it seems forced, at times embarrassing. Idk, it just seems like Kozelek going through the motions. Haven't read any recent interviews with him, but i get the impression he's not really feeling it at the minute, maybe he even touches on this in 'Track Number 8', h'wagwan.

Will give it more time, but it feels about as far from classic Kozelek as could be (but still better than most comparable stuff).

Nice, but...that's it. Some way off Admiral Fell Promises, and certainly April, not to mention his standout material.
