If HMV dies, under 16s with no debit card...

yuggy [Edit] [Delete] 19:51, 10 May '12

will have fuck all access to physical albums if they don't have an indie record store, a parent up for ordering CD's online for them, or buy Amazon gift vouchers to use themselves. This is ignoring shit supermarket CD's.

I find it a bit worrying, of course most early teens these days are savvy enough to use spotify/illegally download/buy itunes vouchers. Yet I found before I was 16 and got a card, I was getting albums mostly from HMV using paper round money and exposure to bands from the internet/friends. Without it I wouldn't have really been able to get many CD's at all. Do you reckon if HMV dies, then only people older than 16 will be CD buyers?
