Music Social More…

Are there any genres that never fail you?

So when you hear an artist makes said music, you're 99% sure you'll like it before you've even heard it. Maybe with a bit of description detailing why.

I have complete faith in balaeric pop, PROVIDING it is 'balaeric' above all else...so Air France, The Embassy, CEO, Korallreven etc. Its been a lovely day, so I got excited about this sub-genre all over again. It helps that balaeric pop doesn't have many purveyors, allowing it to have a really high success rate...giving me faith for upcoming releases. But even when it has an emotional vacuum at its centre (lots of songs about nice weather) its always bloody gorgeous.
