Trance. It's a filthy word around these parts, everybody pretends they don't like it, because lets be honest, it's cheesy and tacky. I reckon if you were to have a poll on DiS tallying up the most hated genres, trance would be right up there.

Despite this, there's nothing better than getting lost in a good, cheap trance track.

Is there actually any GREAT trance? Trance that's actually good and not some predictable build up of overindulged ambiance? Anything not so ridiculously 90s?
