In places, this is a really good album. Becoming a Jackal; The Meaning of the Ritual; and That Day are all brilliant, and most of the remainder of the first 3/4 is good enough. Tails off a bit at the end, but overall it's a pretty decent. I guess it shows that if you're going to mercilessly 'borrow ideas' from another artist, it helps if you can turn them into decent tunes. We'll not go into the fact that he also has the same first name, and quite worryingly similar looks and mannerisms...
