The colossal fall of The Magic Numbers

auteur55 [Edit] [Delete] 01:33, 1 August '10

I mean their first album was being hailed as a classic in some quarters upon it's release. Nominated for a mercury and they were all over the tv and radio. People couldn't get enough. Second album "Those the Brokes" comes out, isn't very well received despite not being too bad and then the band just disappeared for 3 years. Flash to today and their new album "The Runaway" is being greeted with an enthusiasm usually reserved for child molestors. Now I haven't heard the new album yet so can't judge it but how does a popular band fall so spectacularly from the top?
