I dunno if there was a thread about this already, as I was at Freerotation, but she announced on Friday she's leaving her R1 show to work at the University of Sheffield. SAD TIMES.

I'm sure she's done more to turn me on to the amazing variety and scope of post-garage dance music than anyone else, bar possibly nights at FWD and Rooted Records, and I'm really going to miss how amazing a platform she provides for new artists on her show. Not to mention the fact that she gets consistently amazing mixes and dubs on there.

Now there's only one show left on Radio 1 I actually want to listen to... (that being Gilles Peterson).
