Someone said this to me today when I was showing them the new Caribou album on SoundCloud http://soundcloud.com/caribouband/sets/swim as a REASON NOT to listen to it. SORRY BUT, that made me fucking rage. Not even about the album or whatever, just the fact that something as meaningless as Last.fm was actually elevated above someone experiencing some new music and that experience in itself. Like, what the fuck is that? And it was totally normal aswell. Actually came in front of listening to music itself.
