When an album you're bound to love passes you by completely

helio [Edit] [Delete] 10:12, 24 January '10

So, I just found a Matt Pryor solo album on Spotify. I am a big Get Up Kids / New Amsterdams fan, yet I had no idea this existed. And I love it.

I like to think I keep fairly well up to date with what the musicians / bands I like a lot are up to, but sometimes I guess things don't cross the ol' radar.

Does this happen to anyone else? How do you make sure you have your finger ON THE PULSE, as it were, of modern popular culture so you don't spend a year and a half without a Matt Pryor solo album?

What albums that you would have looked forward to and anticipated passed you by and gave you a pleasant surprise when you finally found them months after release?

And... Did you know Matt Pryor had released a solo record? DID YOU?
