Now lets get things straight, this album is promising and probably has the potential to grow on me over time but there wasn't any tracks that hit me with their instant brilliance.

I'd already heard Curses thanks to Spotify, it was certainly a little inconsistent and unpolished but the highs were exquisite. I asked this very forum which one to buy and the general consensus was that Travels was better, because it apparently had that extra measure of consistency and maturity (which I do agree with by the way).

Am I alone in thinking that Travels doesn't quite hit the same heights as Curses did? Did the high points only reveal themselves after repeated listens?
