So I've got this idea in the back of my head about DiS reviewing the 90s to set a watermark before trying to "review" this decade (as I'm sure pretty much every other magazine will be doing come nov/dec - probably at the expense of giving this year its dues - also mentioned in this thread http://drownedinsound.com/community/boards/music/4192773).

Anyway, here's the embryo of the idea for one feature: basically it's a battle between two albums, one of your favourites from 90s and 00s. Then, you all reply saying which album you think is better and suggest an album from the alternating decade that'd beat it. It's a bit like top trumps for indie nerds and we'll all get turned on to some albums we might not have heard.
