Saw these crazy types last night supporting 50 ft wave (as Wayne and Garth would say - 'Kristen Hirsch, that bitch can wail!) and they left me with a big, stupid grin plastered across my sweaty face.

For those not in the know, they are a birmingham band. An eight piece band in fact. In terms of genre, I would probably call it silly ska. Now I know what you're thinking, that sounds awful but trust me, you must see these guys.
I've heard some samples on their website and it really doesn't do them any justice. They seem to me to be a band that you must see rather than hear first.

Last night one of their members was dressed in a red all in one suit. His face was painted blue and he was covered in blue, floppy hands. Sort of like Bez but visually how Bez thinks he looks when he's smacked off his tits.

Anyway, they're at the jug of ale in Brum this Friday. Do go
