I'm back from SXSW and having seen 36 bands in 5 days, I'm musically shattered

One of teh acts I was really looking forward to seeing was Midlake. I've read massively favourable reviews for their latest album, so went in looking to be blown away.

Was hugely disappointed. Every song sounded the same, which to me sounded like sub par Eagles rubbish. They seemed to be lovely chaps, and went down a storm with the crowd, but I struggled to see what all the fuss was about.

What am I missing?
