Amie Street - new way of people selling music online - thoughts?

restlessboy [Edit] [Delete] 14:09, 19 March '07

NOTE: this is not spam.

http://amiestreet.com/welcome

This site will let you host your music to download/sell (no DRM). the gimmick is that, at first, your songs are free to download and then once they become more popular (i.e. a few people have downloaded them) the price rises, up to a maximum of 98cents (yes it's american). Plus 'customers' can also get credit for recommending tracks to friends.

what do you think? does this sound like a good idea? anyone ever used the site?
