I'm just about to set off on a 2 week business-trip type thing, involving a 3 hour drive there, 2 weeks in a hotel interspersed with 2 half-hour car journeys every day, and I'm burning CDs (I've got a hire car so I can't just take my MP3 player). I need suggestions for albums to burn.

I went on something similar two weeks ago, and took Wilco - YFH, The Wrens - Meadowlands, Union of Knives and the new Kings of Leon album for the car. Wilco and The Wrens are too similar, I just ended up listening to YFH all the time, Kings of Leon went down well, but only the second half of the album had much staying power, and Union of Knives were and afterthought that turned out to be quite brilliant, the analog beats etc go well with driving...

SO: I've burned Electric President so far (for it's slight similarity to UoK), any other suggestions? Basically, Desert Island Discs, if the Desert Island was a car...
