My band has a big gig here in Sweden tomorrow night and I just handed the industry guest list to the venue and it would seem that ALL the majors are sending one or two people to come - mainly A&R and creative directors.
It's a long list and it's not just majors, indies too, publishers, management companies, booking agents etc.
It seems that there's a buzz since Lamacq played us on his show...
My question is this;
If we are offered a major deal would we be selling out? (we've already turned down one major offer)
And for anyone who posts on this site who has a deal with or in partnership with a major, do you have any advice?
I'm very precious about my band - so far we've done everything on our own - just the four of us - and I like it that way but we need to take it to the next level and get a record done. We already have a top producer on a promise and more than enough good songs for an LP - what are your thoughts?
