Something that's really annoying.

People refusing to name songs by their name, but instead using phonetic words to describe the dominant riff that the song has.

Someone just did it in the Coldplay thread.

And people do it to talk about Chelsea Dagger by the Fratellis.

"I'm detaching myself from the song, because I don't want people to think I know the name of it. If I seem unfamiliar with its title, it won't look like I pay the band any attention."

In case you dont know what I mean:

"Oh I heard that Fratellis song the other day! You know! The 'da da da da da da da da da da da' one! Bloody awful it was!"
