Technology question

bamos [Edit] [Delete] 09:08, 17 January '05
I've just got round to hooking up my new turntable to my new amp an 'tings, and it doesn't work properly. It doesn't go through the speakers, and the only noise is that made by the needle on the actual grooves. Does anybody have any idea why? The CD player going through the amp works fine, the turntable leads and things are all fine - i've played around with the pre-amp in the turntable and had it both 'on' and 'off', and neither worked, and I've tried to plug it into the 'phono' and the 'aux' lines into the amp, and neither worked. Can someone help me, please?!
