in that eno/coldplay thread i pointed out that eno had worked with James, meaning that he has a history of working with dull, tepid indie bands.

to make sure i wasnt making it up, i googled it, and he had worked with them

really quite a lot.

then i realised that i dont really know shit about james, just Sit Down. all this stuff i found by googling seemed quite interesting and in keeping with classic eno work - concurrently making a pop album and an improv/remix album at the same time and atuff.

also, i just remembered that mystery jets have been compared to james once or twice.

so: james. thoughts? great songs? are they just Sit Down?
