does anyone rate this album highly? i know amongst some fans its looked down on.

personally, i think its incredible. granted, it was the first bjork album i bought. and i only have two others at the moment, vespertine (which ive not listened to enough) and the greatest hits (which has some great songs, some of which sound a bit dated)

i think its the concept of it which makes me admire it the most. some of the vocal mixes are just stunning.. ive always been a fan of abstract music as well, and medulla is a wonderful combination of both abstract and popular styles. basically, it sounds like a bjork album made for bjork fans - it just so focussed on her voice for most of the time

i await hardcore bjork fans telling me im a complete jizzmerchant
