In a similar vein to the London thread, does anyone know of affordable accomodation in Amsterdam ?

I have problems getting my head round the idea of paying £47 a night for a one star hotel, which seems to be the going rate.

Going over next month to see Low and The Handsome Family. May be too late to head to Rotterdam to my familys after the gigs and would rather spend the night in Schipol than pay £47 for a dive.
