"I'm so dirty and the light blinds my eyes."

This is one of the most wonderful and beautiful records I own. I came in tonight and suddenly found a need for it, in particular the 25 odd minute awesomeness of Dirty Epic and Cowgirl that, for me, always merged into a contender for track of a lifetime.

When I first heard these songs they were the most incredible mind fuck. I had no idea at the time that such BEEPING could effect me so much. Everything changed for me after Underworld.

I remember seeing them around this time; I was VERY young and the place in which I saw them in Liverpool was full of scary ravers. I danced wrong, I do remember that. I was surprised that they didn't seem to play the tunes in the way I remembered them on the records. But fuck they were good.

It is the rising of Cowgirl, it is that that hits me every time.
